Jura 21 Year Old 44% Vol
18 April 2015

Every precious drop of this whisky is a memorable masterpiece. Matured in vintage casks, it has whispers of maraschino cherries, soft marzipan and liquorice, with hints of crushed walnuts and bitter chocolate for a rich, full bodied and flawless flavour. With the further flavour of citrus fruits cutting through, this is one memorable masterpiece.

In making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour.

Bruichladdich Peat 46% Vol
14 April 2015

One of the peatiest Islay whiskies. Distilled on Bruichladdich's uniquely tall narrow-necked stills, so refreshingly free from "medicinical" overtones, just evocative and beguiling peat aromas. A three dimensional flavor obtained from three strenghts of peated barley.

A long discontinued, Balvenie 10 year old release with sweet and floral aromas, was one of Balvenie best ever bottlings. This has since been replaced by the 12 year old Signature series and is now almost impossible to find it.
